Knauf joins Tile Association and sponsors awards
Knauf UK and Ireland is proud to announce its recent membership of The Tile Association, as well as its sponsorship of The Tile Association’s upcoming awards ceremony ‘Building on the Best’.
The Tile Association is the only independent association for the entire UK tiling industry. It has over 1,000 members consisting of tiling contractors, fixers, manufacturers, distributors and retailers and aims to achieve a productive, competent workforce in the industry. Knauf is proud to be a member and work together to achieve a higher standard for the tiling sector.
To kick off the partnership, Knauf is sponsoring The Tile Association’s awards ceremony, taking place on May 10th at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole. With 16 categories including Best Environmental Initiative, Best Innovation and Best Heritage Project, the awards aspire to celebrate the best of the best in the tiling industry and inspire the rest of the field.

Peter Shepard, Business Development Director for Aquapanel at Knauf ([ictured) commented on the new union: “We are pleased to now be a member of the Tile Association, and we are looking forward to seeing all of the great talent put on show at the award’s ceremony. Our Aquapanel, a high-performance tile backing board sees us having a close partnership with many in the tile industry, and we look forward to continuing to work together to build better.”
Together with the Tile Association, Knauf is eager to contribute to the advancement and recognition of outstanding achievements within the tiling industry.
