Silver Shared Value award for Zentia

  •

Zentia, the UK’s market leader in complete ceiling systems, has been awarded a Silver Shared Value Award by Oasis Community Housing in recognition of its ongoing commitment to creating positive social impact in the North East.

The award was presented at the charity’s annual Black & Gold Ball on Friday 13 June, held at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead, and hosted by Reverend Canon Kate Bottley, Oasis’ Patron, alongside the charity’s trustees and leadership team.

The award recognises corporate partnerships that go beyond traditional giving to create meaningful, lasting change. Zentia was celebrated for being an organisation that creates economic value while driving positive change through shared value strategies. The award win signifies Zentia’s dedication to these principles, demonstrating how businesses can also contribute to the wellbeing of local communities.

“We’re incredibly proud to receive this recognition from Oasis Community Housing,” said Gert Van Doormalen, Managing Director, at Zentia. “At Zentia, we believe that business has a responsibility to contribute to the wellbeing of the communities we work in. Supporting Oasis is not just about corporate social responsibility, it’s about backing an organisation doing real, life-changing work for people who need it most.”

Through fundraising efforts, volunteering, and awareness campaigns, Zentia’s partnership with Oasis Community Housing has helped to strengthen the charity’s vital services, from homelessness drop-ins to supported accommodation, across the North East and South East.

Sarah Lister, Acting Chief Executive of Oasis Community Housing, commented:
“Our Shared Value Awards recognise companies that aren’t just supporting us - they’re standing alongside us in the fight against homelessness. The team at Zentia have brought passion, consistency, and heart to everything they’ve done for our charity. We’re grateful for their continued support and proud to recognise them with this award.”

Oasis Community Housing supports more than 1,200 people each year and continues to lead the way in tackling both the symptoms and root causes of homelessness.
