Sika shortlisted for five awards
Sika, a global leader in roofing and waterproofing solutions, is proud to announce that it has been shortlisted for five projects across two categories at the highly esteemed Liquid Waterproofing and Roofing Association (LWRA) Awards 2025. This recognition underscores Sika’s continued commitment to excellence, innovation, and sustainability in the roofing industry.
Shortlisted Projects
Liquid Roofing Project of the Year (<1000m2)
- Turner Street Residential: In collaboration with Permicoat, this project showcases Sika’s advanced liquid waterproofing solutions, delivering exceptional durability and weather resistance for a high-end residential development.
- Lady McAlpine: Partnering with Roofing Matters Group, this detailed project highlights how craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology can protect and preserve a distinguished residential property.
Liquid Roofing Project of the Year (>1000m2)
- Center Parcs, Whinfell Forest: In partnership with Central Roofing, Sika’s solutions have provided a robust and sustainable roofing system for this popular leisure destination, ensuring minimal disruption to guests and operations.
- National Railway Museum, York: Collaborating with Malden Roofing, this project demonstrates Sika’s ability to deliver high-performance waterproofing solutions for iconic heritage sites, preserving critical infrastructure.
- York Railway Station: Working with Everlast Rail, Sika has contributed to the modernisation and weatherproofing of one of the UK’s busiest transport hubs, highlighting safety, longevity, and operational efficiency.
