SIKA celebrate five projects shortlisted for NFRC awards

Sika’s Roofing Division is proud to announce that five of their standout projects have been shortlisted for the National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC) UK Roofing Awards 2025. The company’s contributions to the roofing industry have earned recognition across multiple categories, highlighting their commitment to quality and innovation in roofing solutions.

Among the shortlisted projects, Hafod Eryri – Yr Wyddfa with OBR Construction and The Capital Building with BBR Roofing both received nominations in the Reinforced Bitumen Membranes category. These projects showcase Sika’s expertise in providing durable, high-performing solutions for large-scale, high-profile buildings, no matter the complexities of the project. The Dorothy Pattison Hospital in partnership with RLW Roofing, nominated in the Single Ply Roofing category, highlights Sika’s skill in the healthcare sector, where precision and quality are absolutely paramount.

The Whinfell Forest Center Parcs project, completed alongside Central Group, has earned recognition in the Cold Applied Liquid Waterproofing category, illustrating leadership in applying innovative waterproofing technologies for complex, large-scale, and busy developments. Additionally, the Lady McAlpine project with Roofing Matters Group Ltd has been shortlisted in the Small Scale Project <25k category, proving that Sika’s products and expertise extends to projects of all sizes, delivering top-quality results no matter the budget.

The NFRC UK Roofing Awards celebrate the very best in roofing, honouring exceptional craftsmanship, technical expertise, and innovation across a wide range of projects. The awards ceremony is taking place on the 9th May 2025 at the Intercontinental London at The O2, with the industry coming together to celebrate a commitment to excellence, sustainability, and performance in the roofing sector.
