PAS NW awarded major Wain Homes development

  •

PAS NW Ltd is proud to announce its appointment as civil engineering delivery partner on Wain Homes’ significant new residential scheme in Cottam, Lancashire. This landmark development - one of the largest projects PAS has ever secured - will see the creation of approximately 429 new homes.

PAS will be delivering the full civil engineering package, including:

  • Roads & sewers
  • Comprehensive groundworks
  • Section 278 works

This latest win comes on the back of PAS’s recent appointments to flagship schemes at Moss Nook, St Helens for Watkin Jones and Torus, and Peel Hall Garden Village, Warrington for Vistry Group and Torus — reinforcing the groundworks company’s position as a delivery partner of choice for large-scale, high-profile developments.

Dave Andrews, Operations Director at PAS NW Ltd, said: “We’re delighted to be working with Wain Homes on such a high-profile scheme in Cottam. We know our client well from what we are delivering on site at Cardwell Farm in Barton and it’s great to see Wain Homes once again putting their faith and trust in us.

“Delivering the full roads, sewers, groundworks, and 278 package is right in the sweet spot for our business — it’s what we do best.

“This is a landmark project for PAS, and it’s exactly the type of development we’ve been targeting as part of our growth strategy. We’re focused on bringing the right expertise, resources, and commitment to deliver it to the highest standard.”

Enabling works are now underway with PAS, as Principal Contractor, designing the compound that sets up our standard for all site operations.

The project will not only deliver much-needed housing in the area but will also provide enhanced infrastructure and community benefits for Cottam’s growing population.

Dave Andrews added: “This is a scheme that matters to the local community - a community we know well for our work in this part of the region at neighbouring Barton, Cottam and Eccleston. The houses that will be created will be first class and we’re glad to be playing a part in that on behalf of our valued client.”
