National Retrofit Hub and Futurebuild announce research collaboration
The National Retrofit Hub (NRH) has today announced a new research collaboration with leading industry event, Futurebuild, with a first piece of research spotlighting EPC Reform. The research will form the first of several critical topics to be explored by the two organisations, who share a mission to provide meaningful insights and solutions for the retrofit industry, aligning the policies shaping the future of retrofit with industry needs.
This research collaboration offers industry professionals multiple opportunities to actively engage with and shape the direction of retrofit policy. In-depth explorations of key topics, beginning with EPC Reform, will be accompanied by insights gathered from across the sector to ensure that the findings reflect the practical needs of those on the frontlines.
Participants in the collaboration can expect:
- Opportunities to Shape Research: Your insights will be sought throughout the year, allowing you to help steer the NRH’s research findings.
- Early Access to Reports and Resources: Receive early access to valuable reports and insights that you can use and share within your network.
- Exclusive Webinars and Insights: Join webinars with expert panellists, gaining exclusive knowledge on emerging trends and best practices in retrofit.
- Ongoing Engagement: Be part of a community actively contributing to the advancement of policy reform and retrofit innovation.
Further strengthening this collaboration, NRH will return to Futurebuild 2025 to host Day 3 of the National Retrofit Conference, following their successful takeover in 2024. Attendees can expect an engaging, results-driven program packed with expert insights, forward-thinking discussions, and actionable solutions addressing key challenges in retrofit.
Martin Hurn, Event Director at Futurebuild, said: "We are thrilled to be working closely with the National Retrofit Hub on this research collaboration, which will not only deepen our engagement with essential industry issues like EPC Reform but also give professionals across the sector a powerful voice in policy development. By creating a platform where people can share their insights and be part of the conversation, we’re ensuring that the retrofit industry continues to evolve in ways that benefit everyone."
Rachael Brown, Co-Director at the National Retrofit Hub, added: "EPC Reform is just the first of many important topics we’ll be tackling in this collaboration with Futurebuild. Through this partnership, we’re enabling industry professionals to shape real, impactful change in the policies that affect retrofit at scale. We invite as many voices as possible to participate in our EPC survey to help shape our report and make the reform truly representative of the industry’s needs. Together, we can forge a future for retrofit that brings lasting benefits across the built environment."
Have Your Say in EPC Reform
As part of this collaboration, the NRH is inviting industry professionals to contribute to the EPC Reform conversation by sharing their views in the EPC survey, which can be access here.
