Multiple wins for SIKA roofing

  •

Sika’s Roofing Division is delighted to announce it has won in two categories of the annual Single Ply Roofing Association (SPRA) awards. The event celebrated achievements and stand-out projects within the single ply roofing community.

Sika took home the accolades for the Health and Safety category and the Best Small Project category at the glittering awards luncheon held at the Burlington Hotel in Birmingham on 6th June 2024.

Sika and partners Contour Roofing (Essex) Ltd won the Best Small Project category with its successful project at The Butterfly Centre, featured on television programme DIY SOS. The judges were particularly inspired by the collaboration that took place during construction between all trades involved, which meant the project could be completed in under two days at zero cost to the community. Sika’s project at Enthoven House, in conjunction with Invictus Roofing Ltd was the winner for the Health and Safety Award, recognised for its careful considerations towards keeping residents and roofing professionals safe.

Cheryl Douglas, Head of Marketing – Roofing at Sika, said: “We are exceptionally proud of the Sika teams involved in these projects, as well as our valued contractors installing our products with precision and care. We always strive to champion and celebrate best practice in our industry, so it was brilliant to be able to come together with the rest of the sector and applaud those who had performed particularly well this year. Congratulations to the entire team.”

Sika remains committed to excellence and innovation in the roofing industry. As it continues to set industry standards, it looks forward to more opportunities to contribute to award-winning projects and continue fostering strong partnerships within the single ply roofing sector.
