MIRA Showers partner with supply chain sustainability school

  •

As a company that is committed to embedding sustainability throughout its operations and improving sustainability expertise in its workforce, Mira Showers is delighted to have become a partner of the Supply Chain Sustainability School (SCSS).

The SCSS is an award-winning collaboration between more than 225 of the UK construction industry’s biggest names and aims to lead the built environment to a more sustainable future through better industry collaboration, information-sharing, and problem-solving.

Having been a Gold level member of the SCSS for the past three years, Mira Showers has now partnered with the school, taking great pride in being the only shower manufacturer to do so.

As a partner, Mira Showers will have the opportunity to collaborate with other industry leaders and join Leadership Groups to tackle core sustainability issues and drive the industry forward.

Additionally, this vitally important partnership will enable Mira Showers to engage, improve, and monitor the sustainability skills and knowledge of its supply chain and workforce. Indeed, associates and supply chain members will be given the opportunity to attend CPD-accredited sustainability workshops and sustainability benchmarking sessions.

As a result of working alongside the SCSS, Mira Showers will also offer speaking opportunities to showcase best practice and bespoke learning pathways to promote engagement and upskilling.

Alex Hyslop, Marketing Director at Mira Showers highlighted the importance of working collaboratively with the SCSS. Alex said: “As a sustainability-conscious company, ensuring that all our associates are aware of the need to drive sustainable innovation and enhance sustainability processes is essential.

“As a company, we’re also very much looking forward to collaborating with other partners of the SCSS to drive meaningful change in the industry.”

Committed to leading the built environment towards a more sustainable future, the SCSS aids in the development of training in all key sustainability topics. This will enable Mira Showers to upskill associates in major aspects of sustainability, with the overall aim of delivering more efficient and sustainable projects for clients.
