Leviat Sponsors Contractors’ Choice Award at 2025 Brick Awards
Leviat is delighted to continue its longstanding support of the Brick Development Association’s prestigious annual Brick Awards by sponsoring one of the evening’s most unique and coveted honours, the Contractors’ Choice Award.
Taking place on Wednesday 5th November 2025 at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London, the 49th annual Brick Awards will once again celebrate the very best examples of clay brick architecture in the UK and internationally. Each year, they attract and showcase 350 exemplary projects across 17 different categories. The Contractors’ Choice is particularly noteworthy as it is judged not by a traditional panel, but by some of the UK’s top brickwork contractors and bricklayers.
Unlike other categories, projects cannot be entered directly into the Contractors’ Choice Award. Instead, all shortlisted domestic projects are automatically considered. A large panel of bricklayers and brickwork contractors from across the UK will then assess them, focusing on elements such as craftsmanship, technique, style and overall quality – the hallmarks of quality work that every bricklayer would be proud to showcase in their own portfolio.
Commenting on the sponsorship, Lisa Sherburne-Kilby, Leviat’s Commercial Operations Director, Masonry, said: “The Contractors’ Choice is a true celebration of bricklaying excellence, judged by those who know the craft best. At Leviat, we are proud to support the recognition of projects that not only showcase the beauty and versatility of brick, but also the exceptional skills of the contractors who bring architectural visions to life. This is perfectly aligned with Leviat’s own commitment to providing innovative masonry support and fixing solutions that enable outstanding design and construction.”
