Leviat brings innovation and support to Super Trowel 2025

  •

Engineered connection specialist Leviat is thrilled to return and support Super Trowel 2025, the UK’s leading exhibition and bricklaying competition for masonry professionals.

Taking place at Stoneleigh Park in Kenilworth on the 13-14th August, the main event will once again showcase the skill and speed of the nation’s very best professional bricklayers as they compete for the coveted prize of UK’s Fastest Bricklayer. The title is currently held by reigning UK champion Charlie Collison, who wowed the crowd with an astonishing brick count of 719 bricks laid in just one hour. The race is on for who will be crowned the 2025 winner in this ultimate bricklaying competition.

Organised by Jack Dawson, Ashley Digweed-Francis and Joe Short, Super Trowel continues to be the platform for tradespeople to network, celebrate the craft and see live demonstrations and various stands showcasing the latest products, tools and techniques used in the bricklaying trade.

Leviat Stand 96, positioned next to the main competition arena, will give attendees the opportunity to explore the Ancon range of trusted masonry and structural support products. On display will be the popular and trusted Ancon Staifix wall ties range, which suit a range of cavity widths and are an essential element in the stability of masonry panels.

As part of the event, Leviat will be offering a first look at a game-changing solution for fire-critical and high-rise projects. Designed to help contractors meet the latest Building Regulations (Approved Document B), the non-combustible innovation provides added assurance where it matters most. While full details remain under wraps, visitors to the stand will get an exclusive preview ahead of its market launch.

Leviat’s commitment to best practice and innovation in masonry construction will also be shared on the CITB Seminar Schedule, with a CPD session titled Wall Ties and Restraints: Best Practice in Selection and Installation on Day 2, Thursday 14th August 9:30-10:15am. The presentation will focus on the correct specification and use of cavity wall ties and restraints, helping ensure high standards and long-term performance on site.

"Once again, we are delighted to support the Super Trowel event and look forward to connecting with specialist contractors and bricklayers. It’s a great opportunity to speak with the brickwork contractors and bricklayers who install our products and the merchants who supply them. Engaging with those on the ground helps us understand what matters, and how our solutions are helping to raise standards in masonry construction." says Laura Aston-Bowes, Marketing Manager for Leviat in the UK and Ireland.

Super Trowel 2025 continues to grow as an event for tradespeople to network, stay up-to-date with the latest innovations and witness exceptional skill and craftmanship in action. Leviat's ongoing support for the event underscores its dedication to celebrating quality craftsmanship whilst supporting the long-term growth and innovation of the construction sector.

That same commitment to the future of the industry is reflected in Leviat’s sponsorship of the Bricklayer Apprentice of the Year category at The Association of Brickwork Contractors (ABC) Awards. The company recognises the vital contribution of apprentices and the next generation of bricklayers.

Leviat is also running an exclusive competition on Instagram in the lead-up to the Super Trowel final. Ten winners will receive tickets to the event along with a choice of an Ancon Staifix product. To enter visit the Ancon_Staifix Instagram account. Winners will be announced on 26th July.
