Keyfix shortlisted third year in a row for major award
Keyfix is delighted to announce it has been nominated for the Associate Supplier of the Year award at The Association of Brickwork Contractors Awards 2025 – its third shortlisting in a row.
As a company that prides itself on being an industry innovator, Keyfix is honoured to have been shortlisted for this prestigious award for its highly efficient, flexible and adaptable wall ties and fixings.
To overcome the unnecessary costs associated with going through distribution to deliver wall tie products, Keyfix streamlined the supply process by delivering products directly to customers. This eliminates intermediaries to keep services efficient and prices competitive, making Keyfix’s Wall Ties and Fixings more commercially viable for the industry.
Working closely with clients to ensure compatibility with specific load requirements, Keyfix offers the peace of mind of knowing that whatever is being installed has been comprehensively tested through a third party.
As a result, clients are offered both assurance and significant cost savings, crucial given the construction industry is currently facing the consequences of a UK-wide cost-of-living crisis.
Jason Walsh, from Swift Brickwork, praised the quality of Keyfix’s Wall Ties and Fixings, saying: “We have worked with Keyfix specifying their non-combustible cavity solutions on multiple projects and have always been impressed by the product quality, customer service, and overall delivery package they had on offer. So, when they released their wall ties and fixings and showcased the range to our team, we were really pleased with the standard of the product as well as the overall delivery package on offer.
“Having the ability to buy directly from Keyfix helped us accrue substantial cost-savings, which we were delighted about.”
Keyfix’s belief in nurturing the future of the industry through supporting apprenticeships was another determining factor in the company being nominated for the Associate Supplier of the Year award. The NCCT specialists regularly host CPDs, toolbox talks, factory tours, and demonstration days for each college and educational organisation the company works with, helping to support and foster the next generation of skilled professionals by ensuring they have everything they need to succeed.
John Duffin, Managing Director at Keyfix, highlighted how the latest innovations had aided design flexibility in everything the company manufactures, including the wall ties and fixings. He said: “We’ve worked hard to set new quality standards in everything we do, and that’s no different with our wall ties and fixings. We are so proud of the fact that Keyfix is the first manufacturer to develop this type of wall tie in line with demand and it’s proved to be really popular with our clients, thanks to the significant cost savings it provides.
“We’re delighted to have been shortlisted for this award for the third year running. It’s testimony to the hard work and dedication of our talented team and everyone at Keyfix should take great pride in this.”
The Association of Brickwork Contractors Awards 2025 will be held at the St Pancras Hotel on Friday 28th February 2025. Keyfix wishes the best of luck to all other companies that have been shortlisted and will see you all there!
