DYWIDAG Brings Southam Community Together for Special Neighbourhood Event

DYWIDAG (Divi-Dag) a global infrastructure construction and engineering company that specializes in post-tensioning, geotechnical anchoring, and structural monitoring solutions, hosted a Community BBQ at its Southam facility as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting local communities, strengthening neighbourhood relationships and giving something back to the area in which it operates.

The event hosted on Friday 17^th July, brought together employees, local residents, community organisations and neighbouring businesses for an afternoon celebrating community spirit, connection and collaboration.

Residents and carers from Galanos House, the Royal British Legion care home supporting the Armed Forces community, joined DYWIDAG employees and guests for a BBQ, refreshments, tea and cakes. The team at Galanos House welcomed the invitation, recognising the value of bringing people together and strengthening connections across the local community.

DYWIDAG was pleased to welcome Deputy Mayor, Cllr, John Harrison and local councillor Chris Lambert, reflecting the positive relationships being built between local businesses, community leaders and residents.

The celebration extended beyond the BBQ itself. Employees, neighbours and guests took part in a community litter pick around Northfield Road, the surrounding lanes and the Tesco walkway, demonstrating DYWIDAG's commitment to environmental stewardship and civic pride.

The event received fantastic support from neighbouring businesses, including Tesco, which offered assistance with both the community event and the litter-picking activities. By working closely with local organisations, DYWIDAG demonstrates what can be achieved when businesses and communities come together with a shared purpose.
