Charlie Anderson highlighting Ambar Kelly’s unrivalled expertise

  •

As a company that leads the high-risk building (HRB) industry in innovation and shines a spotlight on emerging talent, Ambar Kelly is proud of the level of dedication and professionalism shown by its employees. Testimony to this is the work of Contracts Manager, Charlie Anderson.

Having previously managed an architectural metalwork fabrication team, Charlie joined Ambar Kelly in June 2021 with extensive experience in the construction industry. In a short period of time, Charlie’s energy, enthusiasm, and commitment to supporting the team made him an invaluable part of Ambar Kelly – with his organisational skills quickly blossoming.

Showing an incredible desire to learn and improve, he has actively developed his skillset in recent years and has demonstrated a deep understanding of the field in various projects. Through attention to customer needs and the identification and mitigation of safety risks on-site, Charlie ensures safe and secure working environments during every project he works on.

Consequently, the company’s clients often speak of Charlie’s approachable demeanour and willingness to help – enabling Ambar Kelly to foster stronger relationships with clients that are built on support and trust.

In fact, Charlie’s attention to detail and ability to identify and address potential issues early meant he played crucial roles in the recent One Exchange Square, 90 Long Acre, and Aldermanbury Square projects.

Both projects faced substantial challenges relating to existing structures, requiring careful oversight and management of multiple technical aspects beyond just Ambar Kelly’s RiserSafe flooring system. Testimony to his attention to detail, the early identification and addressing of potential issues meant Charlie ensured smoother project execution and overall success.

His on-site presence, easy-going nature, and incredible ability to develop relationships meant collaboration and integration of a variety of trades and services was quick and simple, and the project was able to run smoothly – remaining on time and to budget.

During the Aldermanbury Square new build project, close working relationships between Ambar Kelly and the main contractor, Lendlease, were required – due to the shared vision for a sustainable future. Charlie’s calm demeanour and ability to deal with any obstacles or challenges with ease were therefore ideal.

Additionally, RiserSafe’s fire and fall prevention benefits and flexible flooring solutions meant other disciplines and trades were able to continue their work on the project without hindrance. This expedited the build process substantially.

In just under four years, Charlie’s can-do attitude and approachable manner has enabled him to work on some of Ambar Kelly’s biggest and most challenging projects – making life-long relationships as a result.

Alex Bardett, Managing Director at Ambar Kelly, has been delighted with Charlie’s input since joining in 2021. He said: “Charlie has been a superb addition to the team and his expertise has played a vital role in the success of many of our largest projects, such as One Exchange Square, 90 Long Acre, and Aldermanbury Square.

“His ability to identify and mitigate safety risks on-site has made a significant difference to the delivery of our RiserSafe flooring system and helped us strengthen our working relationships with our clients.”
